This is a song I finished recently. I'm going to be releasing it on an EP along with 2 other extra long tracks. The EP is titled:

"And after all this time, we can still here them..."

It was recorded to analogue tape of course. Right, theres some info...

...now do your worst

Sorry I haven't replied before. Have actually had your track playing in the background quite a bit  as I've gone about my www business these last few days.

Must confess to little in the way of musical knowledge - I likes what I likes and all that - but I'm intrigued by the solemn pace and desolate flourishes of this track.

What were you thinking of when you wrote this?

Also, when can we hear more?

I don't know what I was thinking at the time. I just wanted to do something really really slow with a beautifully sombre feel.

The song was recorded a little bit at a time, usually when I'd come in after a night out. I'd stumble about and manage to lay a couple of tracks. To be honest this wouldn't have been to type of song I could write sober.

When I originally recorded the first few parts it was already quite slow but then I turned the tape speed right down which dropped the pitch and made it even slower.

More will be on the way when more is finished. Thanks for the positive reply. Makes me feel like I'm actually getting somewhere with this.

love the song. ambient has that transcendental effect and the genre deserves so much more credit than it receives. really great work. and i expect more on that page soon!

Oh Rob, I used to love the other version, but this one is something else! I hate to ask it on here, but I'm wanting to record some solo stuff like this, I was wondering if I could come over to yours sometime and we sort some stuff out? I've got some stuff on my ukulele and guitar and some lyrics. But I want some stuff like this, like, mixing of mine and your ideas. I can sing really great higher pitched but I'm really shy haha.
Oh boy, this song just climaxed, I wasn't expecitng that, it's AMAZING!

I think we'd make an awesome partnership in making music for films. We should try find some opportunities. I miss doing slow, repetetive, sleepy stuff like "37 Hopes".
