The medussa

THE MEDUSSA

She hasn’t got snakes for hair
Or anything daft like that.
But she can turn your social life to stone.

She’ll giggle at your jokes
Even though they’re crap.
But she’ll turn when you take the compliment.

See those sparkles in her eyes
Are souls which are trapped.
She turns over men without a blink.

I really feel sorry for her
Never being looked in the eye.
When she turns over Charming’s done one.

She doesn’t have any mirrors
In that creaking cavern.
She’ll turn to stone if she stares too long.
