My emotions now
locked really just
hidden inside this stony fortress
that I resurrected just
to keep you and
those of like mind
from hurting my
weakened heart
You are the only one
who holds the key
to this lock upon my heart
should you dare jingle
those strong invisible chains
grab the key
to unlock the rusty bolt
My wasted anger
would melt away
like ice sliding
across hot skin
the loneliness and
hurt would fade away
my fortress has windows
that I open to welcome
in the breeze
that brings forth whispers
of temptation from you
your name comes from my lips
and yet I remain inside my fortress
made of stone
invisible yet strong is
how I feel here
I don't want to
take the chance
to have all the stones
I built my wall
with crumble down
around me

loved this. I normaly don't like long passages with no , or . in them becasue it's hard to pick up the melody. But on this occation i think you were right to put it as it is. Hell you told it like it is so why not. Very honest of you to write this. On a more personal note it's nice to know someone feels the same as \I have and do at times. Well done!!
