The greatest threat to freedom is free speech.

« on: August 08, 2009, 11:30:38 AM »

Endless yet sublime, Our crack of time
Runs away like the twighlight
Chase it, face it, persist, break free
It is only then that you will see
The prison's our mind, and not one of stone
Shunning our cell that we openly roam
And who holds the keys?
Who holds the keys?!
The lock and the key remain the same thing
Have you become an illusion?
Or has an illusion become you?

And a different set of lyrics, with similar ideas (to be sung in a sort of musey style, so the lines are not quick and chanted, but more stretched)

Tell as you're told
Behold as you're hold
Sell out your soul
To erase all you know

Reconciliate?
Elaborate?
We served it all up
On a cold iron plate

The abyss we seek
Is blank and meek
The key to your lock
Is locked to your keys

Forever watched
And yet unseen.

Tell me what ya think, I want to improve em as much as possible Smiley

Kind of hard to say without any accompanying music.  When I read them to music in my head, they do fine.

Quote
Have you become an illusion?
Or has an illusion become you?

^^^I like this.

Quote
And who holds the keys?
Who holds the keys?!

I'd do without the repetition unless it is emotionally important to the song.  Do you have anything instrumental to upload?
