Hello, Here are a few of my 'grainy photos'. I really don't think they would have worked as well if they were sharp and precise. I took these on a normal digital camera before I got my dslr. My new photos will be following at some point, along with hopefully, some fisheye shots. I'd appreciate any comments, good or bad. Thankyou. x

...maybe its the lighting in the second two.. I find it interesting how the light goes through the dress. Its very similar to Erica shires work. wow. The soft edges are unusual too, Me likes =]

There's a real mixture of listlessness and hope in the first two. That dank bluriness and the mundane situations, shot through with streaming daylight. Better times ahead.
The last one's completely psychedelic. How did you get that effect?
Keyserrrrr.

well, the lamp casts out the patterns naturally, so I just neglected flash in order to keep the pinky shards of light. I hate working with flash, need to get my head around it. It's hard to capture exactly what is in front of you with flash, but at the same time it tends to blur slightly without it. I think I could easily amend this with a tripod. I'll try it out and see how it goes. Although, if the photographs were sharp, they wouldn't have the same effect that the fuzzyness creates. Nostalgia.

Maybe it's because I'm listening to Ella Fitzgerald, but I really like these. Especially the last one x

I've talked to myself in mirrors before the same though haha.
