Yeah
I think people are bound to have a go at peoples beliefs, (or as this is, a hypothesis, as we ARE basing the belief on evidence, naming no names) when they dont understand them, or don't have the context to understand them.
We wouldn't be here postulating about the future, and its countless possibilities, if it wasn't for the average guy (or gal) having a go at everything they don't understand.

I'm not being horrible, but that is moreorless how it is :\

I suspect Singularitarians will always have to deal with people throwing stones, whether those stones are well-aimed or not.

But I actually was referring to the site in general, not just the lead article. There are many things there worth exploring... can anyone see anything that speaks to them?
