Can't write poetry ? Neither can David Brent. But he thinks he can.

Musician, poet, breakdancer, comedian, chilled out enter-tai-ner, singer/ songwriter, office manager, public speaker and literary critic (fact) David Brent shares his opinions on the late British Poet Laureate Sir John Betjeman.

What's the cheesiest song you've ever heard ? Cringey lyrics and pukable vid clips aside Stan Ridgeway still looks pretty cool in his delivery of this song, looking like a cross between the young Dustin Hoffman and Starsky as well as bloke called Charles who works in our local Post Office...all about a spooky Vietnam War Vet called CAMOUFLAGE  Shocked

And second only to this, much closer to my heart and paralleling my own live life scenarios is this. It's plaintive. It's painful. It's Brydon. It's Eaten the Mouse.

And to complete the tryptych here is a husky gravelly song to make your skin crawl. The perfect couple. A woman who just gormlessly gazes in speechless subservience at  her self absorbed chain smoking man. It's Telly. It's If. Ssssss !

I can see I'm going to have to build some bridges with the womenfolk of this board after my 'Women! Know your limits!' post. So here's my next contribution, advice for women in finding a husband:

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/v/JZ0jRuASVEQ&rel=0" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/v/JZ0jRuASVEQ&rel=0</a>

Which woman wouldn't want an uncle like the one in here? And watch out for those toothless foreign types. ;-)

:-) Now that would be bad.

No, "affable" uncles, just in an old-style posh english accent.

All video posts I can find have been merged into this single thread. Try not to stray, children.
