trying to get into photography, feel better putting these out there than my poetry

my first attempts really, please look at them and tell me how you think i can get better. taken in and near an old basketball court in a park

sorry second one is blurred, some more if u like them Smiley

i borrowed a hp 6 megapixle cam from school, a bit basic really

if i get into this i want to get my own, any suggestions?

Like these...semi related thought..just been walking past  a  trading estate and was saying to my companion...what will become of them all a few years from now the way things are going...with the meltdown will they become derelict antiques all overgrown with flora....

I'm a camera borrower myself also looking into getting my own.  I'm not very knowledgeable about the almighty lens.

I'm really into this sort of stuff Tom...have you ever ventured round the back of Leeds railway station...there's a whole undiscovered planet of possibilities for the photographing thereof...
