If only the president were a poet. :'(

It has actually happened you know...Vaclav Havel ..about 10(?) years ago...poet and playwright was elected a President of Czech/ Slovak Republic - I forget which. Apparently a very nice fellah and far too  nice to be a politician can't remember quite what happened but I think they somehow ushered him out again via early retirement.

If President be Poet, we wouldn't be subversive, and that'd take some of the fun out of being an artist.

Someone, somewhere along this post said something about not having sacrificed enough. I have succumed, on a few occasions to the idea of conformity and being, for as much as i hate the word, 'normal'. This is virtually impossiable for me, so my lapses have probaly only lasted for a day or so, but i find this helps me. I soon realise that to conform is just not my...way?

But sacrifices, sacrifices...pehaps a great deal of my sanity and a good dose of - oh what it is called again? - sleep? (I have a tendency to write at 3am to all those who are bewilded by that last snippet).

Apparently, every nights sleep you miss, you lose a year of your life or something...well, there goes my twentys  Cheesy

Ah "My Way" Wot an anthem....I prefer Sid Vicious' take on it than Sinatra's. Don't spare the audience.

It has oft been said...usually by me..that women do instinctively create...men don't necessarily...as biological conceptors of the race it is their very genes. The subspecies man on the other hand is DNA driven to carry heavy objects and pour beer down his neck while requiring a bicycle pump for his ego.

Give a woman £10 and she'll buy essentials and basic groceries with it. Give it to man he'll pour it down his face (unless the woman is from Wakefield where she instinctively copies the man). Or unless its Vixen and she spends it on the next bottle of Vodka  Tongue

Well actually I learned how to make it in Poland...it's basically fermented potatoes...so yes you could spend your ten bucks on groceries and still get blitzed. Whole process takes about 2 months is all.
